ABOUT TAVERNA

CONTACT

Ta·v·erna (ταβερνα); from Greek and Roman, from the Latin “Taberna”.
A place that offers drinks, especially wine, liquors, and beer, often serving food or appetizers.

Inspired by the classic tavernas of Southern Europe, serving as meeting points for friends and family, in search of good times while enjoying great food and drink.

Taverna takes the best of mediterranenan cuisine and combines it with local ingredients in a relaxed environment that makes you feel at home. Our dishes are meant to be shared, accompanied by interesting wines, spirits,  and eclectic music ensuring good times.

First, the bar, snack on something while enjoying a classic cocktail, a glass of wine, a beer (or two). The restaurant has two dining rooms and a patio, the heart of the restaurant where you’ll find the window to the kitchen. As for the lounge, it is the ideal place to start the night (or end it).

The chefs, Emme and Chris, coincidentally met five years ago working together at Mesa Nómada. They have traveled the world in search of new techniques and cultures to add to their gastronomic careers. Here they have focused on using fire and smoke, which add deep flavor to all their dishes. With their philosophy of enjoying life, they created Taverna, where firewood and charcoal are dominant flavors; they like to grill most of the ingredients, playing with different temperatures, vegetables and proteins.
